Deep Winter Sculpture Garden

Deep Winter

Sculpture Garden

~ ~ ~

As we approach deep mid-winter I find myself contemplating with some relish a twelfth successive season of astoundingly low night time temperatures followed by days, weeks, of vivid dazzling light as the bright Coloradan sun beams down upon a land blanketed in brilliant white, glistening, diamond-studded snow.

This time around however I am very much looking forward to watching the interaction between the deep winter season’s bright, vivid light, and the sculpture residing upon the six plinths of my recently completed Standing Stone Circle.

Prior to my constructing the circle, immediately upon my early July return from Italy, I could only dream of seeing my sculpture displayed in such a manner.

Now, finally, I am able to display my outdoor sculpture at appropriate height and within the context in which they were conceived.

I love the look of the garden in deep mid-wintertime.
