Family of Deer Saunter Through The Sculpture Garden

3:04 to 3:17 PM
Earlier today Kris and I were gazing out of the window when we spotted a family of deer pawing through the snow in order to avail themselves of the tasty remains of last summer’s plant life. What follows took place over 13 magical minutes as a mini-rebellion broke out amongst the ranks.
watch the movie
It all began when this rascal, above, let curiosity get the better of her… suddenly bursting through the snowbank and into the heart of the Sculpture Garden.
Mother was not amused
Her big brother, that silly, silly boy, had taken the cue to jump the gun and mosey in for a closer look.
It wasn’t long before we were spotted
The rest of the clan were busy munching on last year’s kitchen vegetable plot…
…and seemed more than a little content to feast away to their heart’s content !
But Mother had other ideas and clearly….
…it was time to go
Last seen headed out into the open field I got the distinct impression they would be back sooner rather than later.
