And so, at long last, I am delighted to announce that as of MAY DAY 2017 the GRAND ADVENTURE is once again back in business, and very much back on track. For with this one symbolic gesture Kris not only opened a door to the brand new KMJ COONEY GALLERY, but in doing so propelled us into the next exciting chapter of our lives.

The search for gallery space has been long, and at times fraught with the lingering doubt that such a perfect opportunity as this would ever present itself. But here we were, appropriately enough, celebrating May 1st – MAY DAY – by unlocking the door to our future.

All-in-all, 111 AABC Suite D could well have been designed specifically to cater to our needs. With its up-and-over door to the rear, and frontage facing Highway 82, the location affords ample free parking, along with a close proximity to Aspen’s private and commercial air terminals.

I just do not think we could be any HAPPIER. Kris will soon have her gallery, and I… I will have my studio workshop.

Our plan was to get started on the conversion from former plumbing business to studio gallery on the first day of our lease.
~~~

LIFE however was once again to thwart our best laid plans. With so much ongoing construction, not to mention a missing window, it became immediately clear that there wasn’t really much we could do but dream and scheme and imagine just how dramatically transformed it is all going to look in just a few short weeks.

Kris can already picture the KMJ in her mind’s eye, and so can I !

And so why not plan your visit today? I know that things look a bit of a mess right now, but this is early days. Just watch! In no time at all this ordinary-looking commercial box is about to be transformed. With mid-June serving as our time frame, we aim to be up and running in plenty of time for the lovely Aspen Summer Season.
