Winter’s Peak in Woody Creek

After several days of snow the dawn broke onto a new landscape

my studio workshop laid buried under many a deep layer of snow

I took a rake to the roof and cleared a path to the door but didn’t disturb much else

the work could wait

besides, days like these are a gem to be savored

so I wandered around for a while

tromping through the thigh high snow with huge snowshoe strides until I eventually cut in a steep sided path crisscrossing the entire garden

the peace and quite was extraordinary

snow sculpture ran amok !

meanwhile… I touched nothing

just what got into the sculptures I really have no idea

how they orchestrated all this, again, I have no idea

I just strolled around enjoying the show…
