Birdhaven Studio Sculpture Garden

Birdhaven Studio was the love of my life for most of the twenty years that Kris and I spent in Colorado and was located deep in the heart of Woody Creek, three miles south of Aspen. It was our wildlife sanctuary – our Walden Pond – with a floating garden, magical arbor, masses of flowers and edible plants. Often when carving in my workshop I would take a break to walk the paths and sit on the benches to watch the birds, foxes, skittering animals, bees and butterflies that called the place their home.
